The Marjorie is seeking a Part-Time Digital Engagement Specialist to help amplify The Marjorie’s mission and content through social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and implement a holistic digital marketing plan to grow The Marjorie’s audience and further its mission. 
  • Create, manage and schedule The Marjorie’s day-to-day social media posts, keeping attune to new trends. 
  • Work with the Editorial Team, staff writer and Communications Director to produce newsletters.
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns for fundraising efforts (i.e. Summer Membership Drive, NewsMatch Fall Campaign). 
  • Research and establish relationships with other media outlets for potential collaborations/republication of Marjorie content. 
  • Attend meetings, workshops/trainings for Institute for Nonprofit News, Local Independent Online News and the Florida Climate Reporting Network.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to a growing reporting nonprofit.
